More than 30,000 Juniors Nationwide to Benefit from PGA TOUR, LPGA Expertise
(PEBBLE BEACH, CA) — Youth on Course — the organization renowned for its record-breaking national growth to provide affordable golf access – has partnered with Secret Golf, one of golf’s fastest-growing digital media instruction companies, to provide an online learning program to all 30,000 members.
Using the Secret Golf platform, youth spanning 23 states will have access to an educational curriculum and exclusive video content library from PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour players. A premium service with no cost to Youth on Course members, Secret Golf is the first multi-channel company to offer personalized digital lessons from current and former Tour professionals.
“Youth on Course and Secret Golf share a mission to provide access to the game for players of all skill levels,” says Adam Heieck, Youth on Course Executive Director. “Secret Golf’s mobile platform allows for seamless connectivity to the communities we serve, while stimulating engagement for juniors with the game.”
Having already partnered with four new state golf associations in 2018 (Colorado Golf Association, Golf Association of Philadelphia, Greater Cincinnati Golf Association, Iowa Golf Association), Youth on Course continues to gain momentum in its alignment with Secret Golf, who recently announced a relationship with the Houston Golf Association.
“Affiliating with Youth on Course allows us to highlight the importance of receiving proper instruction at an early age,” says Steve Elkington, Secret Golf Co-Founder and 10-time PGA TOUR winner. “The ability to learn directly from TOUR professionals will facilitate proficiency and fuel the passion for the game among the next generation of golfers.”
To increase their aptitude, players will receive unlimited coaching on proper grip, set up, backswing, downswing, short game, putting and strategy. Tour trainers include World Golf Hall of Fame member Jackie Burke, PGA Champion Jason Dufner, Ryan Palmer and Pat Perez, to name a few. Team Secret Golf’s LPGA staff features two-time LPGA Tour Player of the Year Stacy Lewis, U.S. Open winner Brittany Lang, Gaby Lopez and Gerina Piller.
