The
Middlesex County Improvement Authority (MCIA) has selected
innovative golf management firm Billy Casper Golf (BCG) to manage
clubhouse operations at Middlesex County’s three golf courses in north
central New Jersey.
One
of the largest privately-owned golf course management companies in the
U.S., BCG will use its proprietary staff training, marketing and other
pioneering
programs to deliver the complete customer experience at Tamarack in
East Brunswick, The Meadows at Middlesex in Plainsboro and Raritan
Landing in Piscataway.
“We
want our golfers to have an outstanding experience before, during and
after they play a round at our courses,” said Leonard J. Roseman,
Chairman of the MCIA, which operates
the courses. “We are harnessing BCG’s expertise to enrich every aspect
of the operation. We will be offering premier golfing at affordable
rates right here in Middlesex County.”
The
hiring of BCG follows Middlesex County’s continued investments in
infrastructure improvements at all its parks, golf courses and
recreational facilities, benefiting every
resident.
“The
grounds and infrastructure improvements were a first and a very big
step in elevating our courses and enriching golfer experiences,” said
Freeholder
Director Ronald G. Rios. “Our commitment is now being furthered by the
MCIA and its decision to hire one of the nation’s most respected
management firms. I am confident the use of our courses will increase as
we come together for this effort.”
A
dedicated consulting team from BCG will advise course managers, conduct
staff training, implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that
includes
a new website and social media channels, and advance the tee-time
registration system.
The
onsite BCG consultants will be supported by regional and national teams
that provide expert guidance and direction in all facets of the
business.
BCG has already begun its work, some of which will be on display at special events held at each course later this month.
“The
MCIA is committed to raising the bar on all things golf in Middlesex
County,” says Peter Hill, Chairman and CEO of BCG. “Billy Casper Golf
is
excited to leverage our intimate knowledge of the golf landscape to
achieve a high level of guest satisfaction.”
